The Pigeon is a Tier 1 Pet, available in the Turtle Pack. Selling Pigeon stocks a free Bread Crumbs in the shop, which when bought will give +1 attack to a pet. Leveling up the Pigeon increases the amount of Bread Crumbs stocked when Pigeon is sold.

Strategy

At first glance, it might seem like a worse Beaver that has weaker stats and gives weaker buff. However what's unique about Pigeon is that the Bread Crumbs are targeted buffs instead of random, can accumulate in the shop, be frozen to be used on later turns, and provide synergies with food pets.

Pigeon's most notable combo is with Rabbit, which can be found as early as turn 3. With a Rabbit on the team, each Bread Crumbs acts as a free +1/+1 buff. Buy-selling Pigeon can also be worth it as 2 gold for the same amount of stats as an Apple.

A strong and common strategy is leveling up Pigeons on turn 3 to try to spawn Rabbit. Selling a level 2 Pigeon, buying a Rabbit and then the 2 Bread Crumbs costs 1 gold in total for a +2/+2 buff.
