The Gingerbread Man is a Tier 3 Food, available in the Unicorn Pack. Feeding a pet a Gingerbread Man will give them the Gingerbread Man perk. A pet with the Gingerbread Man perk will gain +1 experience before battle, activating prior to start of battle abilities.

Strategy

Gingerbread Man has extremely useful utility, functioning as a very early Chocolate stand-in for pets with battle abilities and allowing leveling based abilities to be repeatedly activated like Murmel, Lucky Cat, and Cyclops. A common early-game pairing is to give a partially-leveled Lucky Cat this perk so that it continually triggers its ability in battle, providing the player with extra gold every single turn. Using this perk on a friend with Cyclops as part of the team can be used to give that friend Mana in battle, which can be very useful for Mana-related pets, like Pixiu and Chimera.
