Mana

Mana is a mechanic introduced as part of the Unicorn Pack. It was previously only accessible through pets from the aforementioned Unicorn Pack, along with Weekly Packs. However since then Blue Dragon and Maltese from the Golden Pack and Ruspoli's Turaco from the Star Pack have been added and can generate Mana as well.

Mana is generated and spent by various pet abilities similar to Trumpet, but each pet has their own Mana value unlike Trumpets which are shared across the whole team. If a pet with Mana faints, it will deal damage to a random enemy equal to the remaining Mana of the fainted pet.

Unlike Trumpets, Mana can be both generated outside of battle and kept between turns if generated in the shop. Mana generated during battle like with Alchemedes will NOT be carried out of battle, only Mana generated in the shop like with Cyclops, Winter Spirit and a Mana Potion will be kept across turns. Mana will deteriorate at the start of every turn, a pet's Mana being halved and then rounded up if they have an uneven amount of Mana; because of this pets will never deteriorate past 1 Mana. Spending Mana in battle does NOT permanently drain Mana generated in the shop, as it will return once the player moves to the next turn.
