Pineapple
Pineapple is a 
Tier 3 Food, available in 
Custom Packs and sometimes available in the 
Weekly Pack. When fed to a pet it will give them the Pineapple perk, which increases the damage its ability deals by +2.
Keep in mind that the Pineapple doesn't affect abilities that target enemies but don't do damage, such as the 
Seahorse's.
Strategy
Pineapple works well on any pet that deals damage with its ability but it works especially well with pets that deal multiple instances of damage such as 
Woodpecker, 
Hedgehog and high level 
Octopus. This is because the Pineapple works for every instance of damage a pet outputs, for example: a level 3 Octopus deals 3x6 damage (18 total) after every attack and a pineapple increases that to 3x8 damage (24 total). Compare this to a pet that only deals 1 instance of damage: a level 3 
Hawk that will deal 1x24 damage at the start of battle. In this scenario a pineapple increases it to only 1x26 damage. The Octopus has its damage increased by 33% while the Hawks damage was only increased by 8.33%.
