Faint Pets are Pets that will trigger their ability upon fainting.
Mushroom is almost always a good candidate for a held food item to put on a Faint Pet, as it will allow their ability to trigger an additional time.
There are 3 main ways for a Pet to faint:
- They are defeated by an enemy in battle. The effects granted by a Pet that faints this way are temporary and only last for that specific battle.
- In the shop by a
Sleeping Pill. The effects granted by a Pet that faints this way are permanent.
- By a
Praying Mantis at the start of turn. The effects granted by a Pet that faints this way are permanent.
This table includes most basic faint pets, with the exceptions of Food Perk Pets, Trumpet Pets and Summon Pets due to their own archetypes being large enough to warrant their own class page.
Ailments and Enemy stat reduction pets are included in the damage dealing column to reduce table bloat.
Faint ability enablers and Friend faint ability pets are also included for their high relevance to the Class as a whole.
