The Yo Yo is a Hard Mode Toy, available from Tier 1 onwards.
Strategy
The best thing to do is run pets like 
Sheep or 
Deer as if they are still alive when it activates, they will activate their faint abilities, summoning another pet and allowing you to win the round.
